Most of you already know that, but I have to give him props!
He took me out on Hubbard today from 6:30 to 11:30. We got off the water with 101 on the clicker(not counting the couple yellow bass). Many of the whites were BIG! A few small hybrid in the mix. I learned a ton from this outing, can't wait to start putting the knowledge to use! I also now have 40 fillets in the freezer and 10 for dinner tonight for me n the boss.

It goes like this... We pull up to a spot and start nailing them... after a few min I look up and the boat show has arrived. anywhere from 8-15 boats. we leave and go to another spot and same thing happens. I swear people see John in Binocks from across the lake and do 50mph to come fish near him. Like moths to a light! I have nothing against it, i was just amazed at his superstar status!

Also met a few TFFers, all in all a great time on the water!

I potlicked off John this afternoon. He and his crew were whacking them when I saw him.

I wonder if I went to a boat dealer and pulled a "Borat"..."I want a boat with a fish magnet" if it would work!

Yeah, that dude was chunking slab when there so many boats on that spot, duh! He's not a TFFer for sure. But I had several solid TFFers boats to back me up so was hopping hat dude would come near for a proper introduction, hehe. We had a fun day also. The fish are getting bigger. Hopefully my team will catch all the magnums next Sat, all the ones I threw back on Fri and Sat

Thanks to John for showing BigDad and I some fish, and thanks to BigDad for the trip, and for getting my favorite rod and reel back from the bottom of RH for me!!!! Thought I would never see that rig again after I let some old Sandbass take it right out of my hand. That's what I get for spending too much time laughing and not paying attention to what I'm doing. By the way, Abu Revo's work great after spending 45 minutes in 30 feet of water.
