Need a ride from the Hwy 78 Bridge (12 miles north of Bonham) back to the Denison Dam. Thats about 35 miles. Or I could leave a vehicle in Bonham and just take a ride from the bridge to Bonham. Theres 4 of us in 3 vehicles so we can be creative. We're trying to avoid leaving a vehicle at the take-out overnite. Shoot me a price if you're interested.

Check with the guy tHt owns the boat ramp at the 78 bridge. He probably has a safe place you could leave a truck. That is going to be one long canoe ride.

Thanks Tim. I didn't even know there was a guy that owned that boat ramp. I'm not real familiar with that neck of the woods. I bet you wouldn't happen to have contact info for him would you?
That is a pretty long ride for something without a motor pushing it. Hope the current is flowing and the wind aint blowing in my face. Were gonna try to make it in 2 days.

Good luck. I routinely do a 20 mile kayak trip in two days and that takes the majority of it if you are doing much fishing. I don't know about 35 miles in two days unless you are strictly paddling the whole time.

35 miles can be done in 2 days but as stated above, you'd better get with it. I often do 16-17 miles per day on moving water. As long as the wind isn't bad you should be able to pull it off.

About a shuttle, I would call the AG teacher at Bonham High and ask him. I'm sure he would know some kids that would shuttle you. I would try the First Baptist Church next.

Sounds like a good trip. Be safe and bring bug spray.

Excellent info Old Town. I'll check that out.
Dave, what are some of the streams you paddle? You got a straight shot down 377 to Junction and the Llano Rivers. I'd be there every weekend if I could.
We shortened the trip to 20 miles, which is fine with me. I usually shoot for 10 miles or so a day, I prefer to relax and enjoy myself on the river. That is why I usually go alone. Other folks are going on this trip, so........... bang
