MsBass caught this big Hybrid on a crankbait this morning, it weighed a little over 6lbs, I had one on but it got me in the trees and came off. We also caught quite a few in the 2 to 3 lb range. They were chasing bait in the shallows (less than 3 ft deep) first thing this morning. Good day all in all.

We were out trying to catch crappie yesterday with no luck and I seen them across the cove schooling wasn't for sure what they were at first. I had a crank bait on and as soon as it hit the water the fish hit it. So needless to say we ended up chasing them around the cove until they turned off. At that point we tried a little bass fishing but they weren't particapating either. We had fun catching whatever was biting. Just out in the morning enjoying the fishing.
