Got a late start but on the water about 8am. Small boat show off Deadmans but nobody really catching, went back into hidden cove and some birds working over shad against the island in 2 to 4 ft of water, no fish. Off to 121 cut, picked up a couple of dinks trolling humdingers. Gravel Pits - devoid of fish life. Back to deadmans, no boats, marked some fish in about 20 ft, couldnt get them to bite. Twin poles and Twin Trees and main lake point at the park, couldnt really mark anything special. Lots of riding and gas burned, not many fish.

Anybody findem this morning?

We found a few on windy points. Found some near twin poles and some near 121 cut. We caught about 30, not as many as last week, but weather was nice.

We got out around 830

Started at Lake Park and picked up a few, plus a Black Bass
Went over to the cut and caught a few dinks.
Worked our way around the dam and picked up a few more nice ones.
Went across to the Hidden Cove area and didn't have much luck.
Went back to Lake Park and found them in about 20'. We left them biting and as we were leaving, the birds began working the area we had just left.

I had a tough go Saturday morning too. Met my coworker and his group at the dock at 7:30. Fished hard until noon with only 4 fish to show for it. Marked lots of fish, just no real takers. Hit the usual spots I find them. Hidden Cove, Twin Trees, Deadman's, Hackberry...nothing. Saw birds working the wind blown shorelines but couldn't find the fish.
