Just what is average,if Obama considers $75K a year rich. I keep seeing average american thrown about on th OT and by the dems,and really don't know who/what level they mean. Own a home,make $100k a year between 2 workers,have health insurance,have retirement savings? Anyone know the economic breakdown of America?

It is not an answer,just an opinion. When you take all of the variables and run them through a computation,ther has to be a statistical average. When this term is constantly tossed out I would like to have the true meaning of average.

Averages are pretty meaningless. Average the income of someone making $30K a year and someone making $250K a year and the average salary is $140K.

No,by Barack's standards $75K is rich.

My nephew and his wife are only a couple years out of college. Both teach, and they are approaching the 75K mark. (He coaches and she teaches ESL classes on the side). And Senator Obromide has his sights on them as they are trying to get their lives together to have kids etc. They want to put a little money away first....but Senator Obromide has other plans for the $$$$$.

That makes him super-elite
