Fished from about 6:30 to dark, generally in the hackberry and hidden cove area. caught about ten fish off the points, but there was no bird activity, and no surface activity. did you guys see the same thing or was i missing the action?

Most of the sandbass I've caught this spring have been near the bottom with slabs, even when they're in shallow water. Look for areas where the depth drops off quickly from 3'-4' down to 10'-14' & you can usually find them prowling that dropoff.
