just wondering who anyone might recommend to get a room for two nights down there around tawakoni.
I'm also wondering where the tawakoni city park is as it doesn't show a city park on this map that I've got that was distributed by AID lake maps. is the tawakoni city park and tawakoni state park the same one? the tawakoni state park is over by mustang cove and spring point. I'm guessing that there might be a city park located over by Anchor inn and resort but I haven't checked there for a room yet ... I'm guessing that would be out of my price range.

Hey Tiny, The state park is on the opposite side of the lake of the City Park. The City park is just west of "2-mile Bridge" in West Tawakoni. Anchor Inn is a good place to stay and reasonable rates also but you better act quick - when I reserved my room there was only a couple of rooms left. See at the tournament & good luck.

tiny- the city park is located about 2 miles west of the 2 mile bridge on 276 the lake county motel is a decent clean place do not stay at the wagon wheel bowers cabins are also decent anchor inn is a good place to stay i am going to pm you now
