Hey everyone! I am needing help finding shad on Lake Buchanan. I usually put in off of 690, 10 mi north of 29. I tried for hours yesterday without any luck. I know of several spots off of Paradise Point, but really don't want to burn all of my fuel to get there. Can anyone help?

You can find shad almost in any cove. You can go in Silver creek Marina or all the way in the back of Thunderbird lodge. Alexanders boat dock in Tow, lots of shad there. It just depends where you are fishing. Try early in the morning or late in the afternoon. Alexanders is where I have had the best luck. There are plenty of 4 to 6 in shad there.

Good luck
