Anyone got any good reports? I plan to go out this weekend if I get my boat back in time.

We are hitting Lavon tonight for CABA's weekly thursday night tournament. If you can't fish the tournament, you ought to attend the weigh-in...they've been interesting here lately. East Fork is where the tournament is held out of...

TELL ME ABOUT IT... Lavon used to be my least favorite lake but now I'm starting to re-evaluate...

Fished Lavon last Sunday. Water was 69-72 where I fished, and quite stained and a bit muddy in a few places.

My most productive lure was a Chart/Green back Bandit 200 on main lake points and secondary points in 1 to 6 feet of water.

I would not classify the fishing as great, but it is improving. Once they get the gates closed, it should get better.

As of right now they are still letting out 788 cfs. That is better than 1500 cfs but not closed. Hopefully tonight will be better than the last several.

Go time is 6:30 pm for the CABA T. You can draw numbers up to 6:20 pm. After that you go to the end of the line. Probably be a decent number of boats there tonight. The wind is blowing 30+ mph!

Well for those that attended last night already know, Lavon gave up a 7.8 for big bass and another good fish that went well into the sixes as part of the 14+ lb winning sack. Not too bad for three hours of fishing.

Lavon has its moments.......It should get better if THEY CLOSE THE GATES!
