Okay sportsfans & children of all ages, I've located a older model 150 HP Mercury Black Max to go on the nice free bass boat that I was so richly blessed with a couple weeks back, however, there is no control box, cables or wiring harness to go on it!! I am in need of one that will work on it & I need one as low priced as possible too! If anyone has one not in use & would like to sell it cheap, I'd be interested in trying to work out something to get it around the 1st of the month! Thanks for the help, TLP aka Hank 1951

I may have some cables if you come across a box that needs them.

What kind of wiring harness is on that engine?? Better question, type of plug to block?

I think I can dig up a box that came off a 1982 Mercury 150 Black Max. Get me the serial number off the motor and I will check

Thanks anyway, I don't think that one will work! It's kind of you to try!

I am still running an 81 2.0 Litre on an 82 Ranger. Not much for low end out of the hole but once on plane......bye. It too pushed a Laser around pretty well.
