I've got one that I've had for probably 15 years. Ever use it?? No. Probably not the same brand, but still the same lure.

There's one in the bottom of my tacklebox. Been there for several years. I think I used it once or twice when I first got it, didn't do much good, so I forgot about it. After I read your note, I looked for it. Guess I'll get it out and try it again this Summer.

Thanks for remindin' me, & Good Fishin',

They first came out about 20 years ago. Caught some good farm pond (that would be 'tank' to y'all) fish with them, but never had much luck on big water.

If you look closely on the back of the packaging there is some fine print. It clearly states that you have to be fishing in private lakes, containing an absurd amount of large fish that rarely see any lures, with optimal weather conditions, and a camera crew for the lure to be effective!!! But good luck anyway!!!

Don't forget you have to have at least one mishap per trip fall in etc. .

I had the original when I was in grade school. For me it was the same as someone mentioned above, Caught fish on it in ponds, but not the big lakes. I would rather have something with two sets of trebles personally.

I got me one of those for fathers day last year. Not very good. I could have spent the $30 on something worth while. But it was my daughters idea.

Other than the Senko, there's no magic fish catching lure.

I think you need the fish caller box and at least two camera men (one to film the other falling into the lake). You also might need the still-strapped boat trailer/missing pin hitch trick as well.

Seriously, bloopers are one thing, but most of that stuff obviously faked, like the camera man tripping and rolling down the hill as the other camera man filmed it. Why else have a camera man filming a camera man?

I admit too...I have one. Tried it twice last fall with no luck. Think I will try it next time I am on a school of sandies in a frenzy and see if they will tear it up rather than my favorite lure.

i got one of these a couple years back with 0 luck. My brother in law got a couple this past winter after watching Bill on a show, and he has caught several fish with it every time we go fishing. But nothing to brag about. Heck, he has caught enough fish with it, that he always has one tied on. But still does not convince me to try one.
