Check out Trophy Bass Lodge on Lake Huites. Brett Graham from Sherman is a co-owner. I went in October and it was awesome.

January and February are the best months to go down there... You should be going to Canada for June fishing..

Huites pretty much closes from June-August because of the constant rain. I just went in April though and it was awesome!! Caught a 12.03, 11.31, and a 10.44

Ha, man I'm from Texas, besides some like it hot. I fished ElSalto in 02, middle of may weather was great, they were inhaling big deep cranks. In fact one of the guys in our group caught a 16 , just know there are a lot more resorts on Salto now. I am thinking Huites might be the ticket. Thanks men

no they were post spawn, we didn't have really big numbers, my wife caught a 10.2, and I managed a 10.10 on the last day, lots of 4 and 5's. I guess Huites gets hotter than Salto, just talked to Trophy Bass Lodge and they are still booking the first of june, cut off is the 10th. She is saying 95-98 days. Would be worth it if they are bittin

I t got in that range in October. We fished from 6 till noon, came in for lunch/siesta and went back out from 3 to dark. Cool in the Am and very comfortable once the sun dropped over the horizon, which was pretty early since we were fishing the Canyons/rivers.

I'm still sold on Falcon!!!! Half of it's in Mexico!!! Falcon did come up in our conversation. I am just now trying to get my passport, which i understand takes 3-4 weeks. Might have to fish falcon instead. I have never been . Are they pretty deep in June?

I have heard good things about Baccaracc lately.
If you go to Falcon thinking it will be like Salto or Huites, you will be dissapointed. Falcon is great, but it's not as good as Mexico. Of all my big stringers at Falcon over the years, all were topped in one trip to the above lakes each day.
