Anyone that could help with where it is safe to run and where it is not would be greatly appreciated. Planning on putting in at the State Park. Thanks in advance.

You can run any where between the bridges, just do not cut to close to the main lake points.

Once you get below the south bridge, follow the markers.

Once you get west of the Lynn Creek Bridge stay in the middle or closer to the North bank.

Where are the other boat ramps located on the lake? The on by the Oasis is always too packed for me. Thanks.

East side of the lake in the state park. They actually have two. One is a 4 lane and the other is a 3 lane, I think. Its been awhile since I've been there. Not sure if Britton Park has a ramp or not.

Lloyd Park is off route 360 on Ragland Road not as busy as the Oasis but costs 10 bucks to launch State Park Cost 5 if you use state park go to south boat ramp not busy at all turn left after entering park to get to south ramp.

sadly, all lakes are becoming that way on the weekends.... I think you can go south of the bridges into the stump fields to get away from them.

I get on the water at first light and get off by 10 or 11 am when lake fleas start wakeing up and buzzin around.

Sometimes it takes those lake fleas to stir up the fishing on the lake. usually if you can find a bank where someone will run by every 15 to 20 minutes like a point or something when a boat drives by you can usually catch 2 or 3 fish really quick right when the pass by. I dont know why that is but it works I have done it several times out at that lake.

The wake from the boat churns up the algae which brings in bait which brings in bass. So I hear.

What NYankee said is what I do too. It is too crazy after about noon. But you can get in about 6 hours of fishing if you do it right. I made the mistake of going out there in July once last year about 3PM. Never again, scared me to death all the drunk crazies out there.

True that, on any metro-mess lake (Lewisville, Grapevine, etc)

Was that the Stroker with the Pro Max? I saw it at the gas station early in the morning. We were going to the Bass Champs tourney.
