I got my 1st carp out of HC yesterday. 11.6 and he even tangled himself in some rocks just to make it that much more of a thrill for me. lol There where allot of carp crashing around in my swim and other than a a few beeps from ol big nasty that was it. I was very glad to see that the 1st fish was over 10 lbs, and after a trip out on a boat fishing today I got to see just how deep & big this lake is.

Hubbard creek lake, in breckinridge, tx. We found a few spots on the lake today that where 40+ ft deep.

Ah, very cool. How did the fish look? If the average water is real deep, could be some big fish in there.
