I really like Texas Pete's.

What is your question?

tabasco for bottled, and "julios" for salsa - from Brookshires.. its the best salsa type sauce I have ever had!

X2 on the home made. Fresh veggies and peppers boiled and blended together makes for a nice aroma and good eatin'!

Dave's is definetley the best for heat - If youa re looking for a great combo for heat and flavor, try "El Yucateco Red Habenero". It has a GREAT FLAVOR and packs some pretty good heat, as well.

I eat it on everything. $1.99 at Albetson's and every Taqueria I've ever been in sells it too.

BTW, don't try the El Yucateco XXX Hot - the flavor is off and the heat is right there w/ Dave's insanity!

Best jarred salsa in stores is Joe T Garcias. IMO perfect balance of heat, seasonings and fresh veggies.

For a "not-so-hot" sauce that is very tasty on Pizza Bagels, hamburgers, hotdogs, fries, etc....try a bottle of....
.
TIGER SAUCE. We keep a bottle in the truck and it makes every roadside meal a treat indeed.

It is great for those that like a lot of flavor without the scalding-your-mouth-and-incinerating-your-posterior-orifice heat!

Take two cans of Mexican Style Stewed Tomatoes. Add fresh onion, cilantro and jalapeños. Put in blender.
Now that is good.

Been there, wasn't impressed. There is plenty of good sauce (and mexican food) around here.

the places that are big and fancy or on the river walk suck, I'm talking about westside hole in the wall Jalisco native cocinas, where the thought of sanitary never crossess your mind once the first bite is savored, after eating that kind of food, mi tierras and all the others seem about as tasty as taco bell, their homemade hot sauces and salsa will make you wonder why you didn't taste it sooner

Try Big Dawg Salsa. They have an awesome line of hot sauces and are made right here in Keller, TX. I'm friends with the family and they run a great business. They're in quite a few stores around here.

Another thread in this forum convinced me to try Sriracha sauce. It is now my top favorite bottled hot sauce over tabasco, cholula, looziana, and the others. It is in the asian section at the store. Try it you will like it.
