It should be on. They are running 2 generators. I would almost bet they run the generators 24/7 because the Washita and Red River watershed areas are both getting pounded with rain.

2 generators from 3PM to 12AM (mid night) If you get there by 5PM, I guaranteed you will land something HUGE,
Good luck, got to work until 8PM today,

I went out yesterday.. I think I arrived about an hour late. I met up with a few people that tore it up on topwater for about 45 min. The biggest went around 30lbs. He let it go (cool). There were several that were over 10lbs.
I only ended up with 6 small ones (all released) 6pm-11:30pm

i hope the rain yesterday was maybe enough for them to open it a little bit? lol Give it a few days. They are having a bit of flooding east of the dam and they will not open floodgates until they start to recede. Texoma Watershed The above link are rivers and creeks that flow into Texoma. The ones in light green are on a headrise from the rain yesterday. A few are already receding. Our local news may give us info about how much they expect Texoma to rise from yesterday's rain. Tulsa Corps of Engineers At the bottom of this page is a map of all water basins under the Tulsa districts jurisdiction. You can click on the upper or lower Red River basins to see what is happening west and east of the dam.

We need more rain west of Texoma. I do not see the lake level rising like it did when they turned the flood gates on. In fact the level rose about .03 of an inch and has stayed the same. I thought it would rise more but it is not happening yet.
Biddy-boppa, KrazyQ, HittinUp, check your pms.

It didn't rain that hard....short and sweet but furious storms. A month ago we had rain all day north and south of the red river all over the drainage basin. at most they will generate 24hrs but I seriously doubt they will open the floodgates.
