I lost the transducer for my Hummingbird Wide 100 so I am looking for a new fish finder, dont have much money to spend and would like to know what is it that makes one more accurate then another? I assume on the quality of the display that the thing to pay attention to is how many pixels, but what determines accurate it is. I am looking at the Eagle Cuda 168 has anyone used this unit or have an opinion?

I have a Cuda 168 that I have been using on the TM. I bought it mostly to warn me when I get into shallow water. It has a low pixel count and low power. While it is better than nothing more pixels and more power(Watts) is always better. I am only familar with Lowrance and Eagle products. They both have better units for $20 to $40 more.

Ken, take a look at the Humminbird 525. It's a great product at a very resonable price.
