I went fishing to see if I still knew what the heck they look like. Actually, the fish were everywhere one would expect. Slabbed most of them off ledges, but did find quite a few wearing suspenders.
Ok Lurkers, this is a very fun affair. Come out and join the fun and learn something from some of the best sandy fishers around. I got lucky last year...this could be YOUR turn!

Anybody need a backseat driver?

I would get a team together but I am never sure when my schedule will get me home and don't want to get in at midnight on fri. drive home get the boat ready and drive to the lake. (I ain't that crazy anymore). I worked my schedule out so I would have wed, thurs and fri open and don't ya know it the boss saw that and called and said hey can you go to Minneapolis on W,T and maybe Fri.

I know the lake ok and better yet I know the boats (yellow tahoe, nitro and some others) to follow. So if somebody has an open seat I would like to fish it with ya.

Also if somebody wants to fish with me give me a PM. I can't guarantee when I will be home and might get to the tournament a little late, but hey its all for fun anyway.

What time is registration? I assume that it's ok for me to shoot across the lake from captains cove marina?

I will be there at 5:00am and yes you can motor over and I will just do a boat check at the dock.

i went out today and we caught a ton of under hybrids and what is the boat inspection about what do you have to have

an empty livewell....

We do just do random checks on live wells , just a thing because when money gets involved some people get a little weired

We went to another lake yesterday that is loaded with hybrids but it was muddy (chocolate milk). Fished there for about 4 hours and only one fish. About 1 PM, we decided to head to Hubbard for some prefishing. Well, all I can say is its going to banner catch this year. Even us Lewisville guys were able to find them. I hope we can find some bigger fish for the tourney though.

OK PM directions to chandlers AGAIN...I thought after being there 3-4 times I would have remembered...but thats fatty.

Right now weather.com is calling for a high of 78 with the wind out of the NW at 9 mph. That would be a beautiful fishing day! Lets all pray it stays that way.

Boy's I wish I could be with you but, I have a wedding I have to go to.
I did ask the wife if I could get dressed for the wedding and go since the wedding ain't till 1pm, but I think you know what I got told.
