there are large underwater humps by the damn that are great for drifting cut shad over. As for catching shad I usually do the best by the crappie house in front of Rocky Creek Marina

The kitties are biting!

Set out yesterday at noon. Shad easy to come by. Cast in 2-3 ft of water areound the weedlines. Good gizzards!!

Kept them alive and decided to do a little drifting.

Caught two 5#'s and a 21" hyrbid. All on live shad. Tons of bites but was having to tend to my yellow lab.

She didn't appreciate all the boats coming so close.

Speaking of that......

Not to cause a stir, but....

These wakeboard boats out there showed me no sort of politeness.

With hardly any wind, no drift sock overboard, it really stank!!

I said nothing and went on my way.

All and all...

Good day.

Sunburns and tight lines.
