Try wearing a breathing respirator like they would use at a body shop. Mine works pretty well at work, and the landscaping company nearby puts out some pretty funky smells

You usually can pick them up from Lowe's or Home Deport for under $20-30 depending on how fancy you get. My general rule of with these is you get what you pay for.

Hope it helps!

yeah I cant remember what I used to pay for it, but we used to keep a barrel full too. Havnt bought wheat in probably 8 years though. Its cheap in north texas, I guess because they grow so much of it up there, but Im sure its alot more than it used to be. Right now Im just using corn since its the easiest and cheapest around here. I think i pay like 7 dollars for 50lbs. It just takes a little longer to get it really ripe then the wheat did. But your right, nothing in my opinion compares to the strength of soured wheat! that stuff is BAD! Makes you wonder why something that eats stuff like that tastes soooo good!

Range cubes and 'off-brand' creams style corn works really good. Heck, if you carry enough cream style corn, you can always eat a can if you get hungry. Wouldn't recommend the soured chum though...

I keep two 55-gallon barrels of soured wheat. I crack the lid and it really smells good.

I hate to admit it, but I like it! I'm weird.

Salsa, I agree, the smell does not bother me at all, and I really like the smell of Sureshot and other cheese baits that I have used. I use Milo..hard to get wheat in the Houston area.
