When comparing fish finders, what if anything is the difference between one that shows a lil picture of a fish and one that shows those arch things? Is there a difference in accuracy?

Most, if not all, fish finders allow you to select which type of display you wish to see. Most experienced users opt for the arches.

The "fish Id" mode can pick up things like, an anchor rope and you see a line of "fish". Once you learn to use the "regular" mode, it is more realistic.
