Just pulling your leg,, I live in Tyler. I do know of the road bed or at least a Road bed. The one I know about should be good now since they have had some rain but when the lake is low it would take a flat bottom to get there.

Hey, ZX225 are you talking about the road right in front of the ramp to the other ramp or the one in the back of the creek on the north end before you get to the existing bridge? Just got to thinking bout that roadbed that helped make the ramp when they filled the lake and that one might be good right now, I can say that I have honestly never fished it this time of year.

Jody the one that I'm talking about is on the East Side about 3/4 down the lake before you get to the bridge. Jody it's about 100-130yds out from the bank. The water should be 18'-24' deep.

I'm looking forward to this. Should be fun.
I know that bridge... haven't fished it in a very long time.

what ramp are we going to meet at and i know how to get to the town of quitman but how do i get to the lake from town?

Hey, SnakeEyes, just take 30 to Sulphur Springs and get off on 154 and go East to Quitman. I think Team 2 Tuff should meet up at the Brookshires Parking Lot.

From Tyler take HWY 69 North to Mineola and keep right when 69 and 37 split taking 37 North to Quitman. At the stop light in Quitman take a right on 154 East and Brookshires is about 3 blocks down on the right before you get to the stop sign.

Tourney is at 6:15 so lets meet there at 5:45 or so. We are going to be about 12 minutes from the lake at the Brookshires Parking Lot. I think it will take you about 1.5 hours from Mesquite give or take a few minutes...
and from Tyler it is about 45 minutes drive time.

LOL, Somebody asked around and found out how muddy the lake is..
Tough fishing there My club had a T there last week and 9.90 lb in 5 fish won it... Fishing for the 14" fish out there right now.
