The lake is in great shape. The water is clearing up and they weren't letting any water out when I left today. We really didn't get a bunch of rain today. Was out in it and the fish liked it.

Not too much has changed on how we are catching them. We are getting a few more topwater fish in the mornings. Buzzbaits and spooks should get you some bites early. Flukes are working also. Then we are throwing the rig quiet a bit.

Fishing is really good right now and should stay that way. May and June are my two favorite months on this lake.

The sandies are still going nuts. I have cleaned a few limits this week. Seems like at times we can't get away from them.

I still have some dates left in May if you are wanting to get out and take advantage of the good fishing.

Man, I'll second that. Had what might have been my personal best on the c-rig and she threw it. My friend and I both had numbers in the double digits mostly 3's and 4's and I cought a 5 on a buzz bait. It was great. Thanks Dannie, we had a great time. Can't wait to go again.
