I got a "tip" from a fly fishing guide today about the size of the carp below the PK dam. Have any of you guys been out there?

I may take a trip out there fairly soon based on some of the numbers he gave me...

I live in Breckinridge 50% of the time & it's only a few miles down the road so I'd be game fo sho... I've never fished it before but I could ask a few guys @ work what they know about it.

REALLY. I would love To go to PK, But There Are so many choices for me that are within 15-20 mins & I usually just go to Hubberd creek because I want To get something out of it. I Need to find A fishing Buddy In the area, I think that would help allot more. After 3 hours of sitting there alone you start thinking about putting all my 3oz weights in my shoes and jumping off the bridge. lol

lived in breckenridge for 13 years ... caught lots of big buffalo & a few carp off a private boat dock on tanglewood island ... see if you can talk jack martin into going fishing, well he'll prolly be too busy fish now for a long while

Well? you arn't Albert "the porkchop king" Marino are you? I actually work with A older guy named Jack Martin that does some catfishing. His house was hit buy the tornado also so I'm sure he'll be to busy although I'd be willing to bet I could talk this jack into getting a hook wet.

yep that's the jack martin i'm talkin' about ... he's my pappy-in-law ... a while back he told me he worked with a feller that had been off down around austin somewhere fishin' for carp so when i seen you was in breckenridge i put 2 & 2 together ... figured it had to be you he was talkin' about
