I am interested. BUT that lake will be covered up with boats, drunks, Wet Bikes and nutcases on July 4th..lol

Yeah, sounds like a good way to "get my feet wet" in a first tourney. I'm in the process of getting a boat, so we'll see if I can do it.

Hey Fast Lane most of them get to the lake around 1:30 or so. A 5:00 to 12:00 will be just in time to load the boat wipe it down and grab a lawn chair to sit back and watch the Boat Ramp Festivities... LOL This should be goood

LOL...that is true! You better bring the biggest boat you can find, because I can assure you there will be some yachts out there circling.

Am I missing something? Lake Tyler, is that the lake in the state park or another lake? Or are you talking about Hawkins? Just trying to understand, I'm interested but need more info for a newbie like me! \:\)

You are thinking of Tyler State Park. Yes this is different.

Lake Tyler is South of Tyler just East of Whitehouse. Take 69 south out of Tyler to FM 346 (I think).

Or you can take Hwy 110 S out of Tyler and go east on FM 346. I might be interested in this tourney as well.
