Any of you guys ever use these hooks?

They are model 76AR and are a size 6. They seem very nice and are only 9.50 for 50 hooks.

I picked up a pack and will test some out tomorrow maybe.

Jeff, the flyfishing manager at Arlington Orvis, seemed to agree with me that they should work very well and are a better deal then some of the "euro" hooks I have bought.

Wow that looks a good hook. If you use that with a "knottless Knot" hair rig set up that inturned eye will set the hook at a very agressive angle you'll surley catch loads of carp with them.
where can you buy them? At that price, I'll get a few to bring back to the UK in September

I have used them in the past, with a little success, but I found they 'spring open ' a little too often, causing lost fish.

I still use a fly hook for some fishing, I just forget the make and pattern now, I will post it up when I remember......They are excellent in the smaller sizes though with a great size:strength ratio
