There are no natural waters extremely close. The nearest would be the Guadalupe River. Guadalupe River Trout Unlimitedcan get you pointed in the right direction, This is all happening near Canyon Lake TX

But don't forget that some of the best salt water fly fishing around is right down the road from you. A quick Google will turn up a number of salt water fly angling guides nearby. Not to mention the warm water fly fishing Houston Fly Fishers Club

There are many public and private waters across Texas that are stocked with trout in the winter, but this is about the time of year when those waters warm to the point where they are no longer habitable by trout. (70 degrees F is usually the max for trout to live and feed and stay healthy.)

The only water cool enough to hold trout through the summer would be right at the source of a spring, or in the case of the Guadalupe River, a tailwater below a dam where the water is released from the bottom of Canyon Lake. The Guadalupe also has a minimum flow agreement in place between Trout Unlimited and the Guadalupe Blanco River Authority, so flows will range from 140 cubic feet per second (cfs) up to 240 cfs through the summer, which means that enough cold water will be released from Canyon Dam to make the top 5 to 10 miles of the river below the dam cool enough for trout.

For real time data on flows and water temperatures on the Guadalupe tailwater, go to :
