Ok I will be putting on a Bass Pro Shops College Shoot out, Memorial Day Weekend. It's a Free entry tournament. There only has to be one full time college student in the boat. The other angler can be who ever the student wants.

There will be a mandatory Media night on Friday, May 23rd, one team member will have to be there.

I'm working on sponsors but this is GUARANTEED

1st place.............$500 Bass Pro Gift card
2nd place.............$300 Bass Pro Gift card
3rd place.............$200 Bass Pro Gift card

It's a two day combined weight tournament
5 fish limit/per team
There is NO OFF LIMITS
You can launch at any ramp to cut down on traffic.
You can be on your spot and start fishing at 6:30 AM

There will be 4 different weigh in you will alternate on Saturday and Sunday.

I got a lot of people interested, if that turns into show ups then YES a lot.

We will see, I have Students getting a hold of out state school for me/ I will have a BANNER and FLIERS made tomorrow.

Do we have to check in somewhere or anything the morning of each tournament day? Or do we just show up and start fishing at 6:30?

Yes each morning I will have a drive through Live well check starting at 3 AM.

theres a nice little hotel right at Dalrock Rd (across from the Texas queen AKA Bayview Marina). i believe Donny Walters stayed there when he held his benefit tournament. Casey , you might PM donny and see what they charged and quality of the place. its in the perfect location.

Irv stayed there before, its pretty nice. If I remember it was not very much. It's a perfect place.

I plan on being there--wish I was on the fishing end but the helping end is pretty cool as well!

I have a lot of commitments so far at least 30-40 boats that number will grow

Look for a write up in LoneStar Outdoors as well as on the Texas Fishing and Outdoors show every Saturday and Sunday at 5:30am and 6:30am on Saturday and 5:30 am on Sunday.

This will be a huge event and the weigh in will be AWESOME.

i might be there, but i dont think you are going to get very many temas from out of state with a $500 1st place gift card, they are going to spend that on gas and rooms, just a suggestion though. but i know its not easy to raise big money without an entry fee, i would make a entry fee of $10 just to make the money get up there a little more.
