We are leaving Saturday for Port A, has anyone got any reports?
I have been reading there is some weather changes coming in but already planned and booked.
Might as well make the most of it.
We will be there the whole week of the 4th. Any tips on places that are hot and what baits are doing good right now? Anything would really be appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

Just got back yesterday from 2 days in the area. Fished one day at Mesquite and San Antonio Bays and second on Redfish/Estes Flats. Fished shrimp under popping corks, gold spoon, plastics of various colors. Best results (3 X 24" reds, 4 X 17 " trout and a sheepshead) all came from shrimp under popping cork. (no keepers on artificials)

Lots of wind (what's new?). Use wind sock and be prepared to drift from Hog Island to channel (or vice versa).
