TB i wont disagree with ya cause the boat has not been in the water in over a year. got it legal yesterday. and it will be on the water somewhere this weekend. BTW not sure if i will be at the FF saturday. computer at home is kinda messed up sometimes it works sometimes it dont. so this may be the last word from me in a while. today is the last day of school.

i just tried to post on the FF thread. but the internet went down here at school so i lost my post. and yes it was a long one. basically this may be the only chance to get on the Brazos so if it comes up enough i may be on the river saturday. if it does not rain 2"-3" i will be at the FF with the boat.

We hit Belton from 2pm 'til 6pm yesterday and did OK. Shad were easy, put 6 Hybrids, 5 Blacks, 2 Whites and 1 Smally in the boat. Got to tow a broken down wakeboard boat to Rogers park and I think I saw Sharc putting in at TLP on my way home.

Yeppers that was us, me and the wife, snuck out for a couple hours. Had a good time!

JD - we had pretty good luck last week for whites, some nice LMB & a even a few smallies EARLY (the near shore bite was usually done by 6:30) in TLP near the N ramp. The road to the south ramp that F4F was describing has not been open when we get there 4-5 AM so we have not tried that end of the park.

Well, good news first......
Made it out to Belton again today this eve. Saw MrG and Family and got a few more tips on where to find shad. Found hybrids stacked up and had a hard time trying to reel them in 2 at a time since I was by myself! Saw TPWD puttin some fish in the lake at TLP ramp! I guess there was a Bass Tourney this eve, because there was a weigh in and lots of fancy bass boats at Rogers this eve. All the hybrid action for me was late, around 8pm.

Bad News.. My buddy couldn't make it this eve, that's why I ended up fish'n by myself. Ran into a big A-hole out from TLP! There was a big, white, double decker boat anchored up in a area where I have been on the Hybrids in the past, John probably knows where I'm talking about. I am just idling thru the area, checking the graph when one of the dudes on the big arse boat throws his arms up like I'm intruding on them. I kept graphing, closest I got was maybe 50 to 75yds, at some point I think he shot me the bird, nice!!

Oh carp, one more thing. Camping trip thingy was changed at the last minute, so we won't make it to the gathering on Sat.
