hey belton guys, my buddy lives up there in killeen and works all the darn time acting like he manages a resturant and keeps wanting me to go up there on the weekday, but its a drive (esp with gas $) so hows the fishing in may? june? we tear up the catfish, white bass and crappie here around san antonio, and i fear no lake ***DISCLAIMER*** Except T-Bend*** so what are some good pointers? chasing birds? this talk about throwing 1.9 pound slabs (joke) at schools of fish seems like i'll be way under tackle'ed for the hybrids even though i coastal fish all the time. so what are the alternatives, we know what we're doing as far as the basics, but i want to know do we head up the north arm, the west arm, stick by the lower dam area, keep the boat on the trailer and the trailer on the truck and the truck in san antonio, or what? i really want to get up there and tear some fish up

yeah boat is still sick. guess it doesnt like me being so mean when the lake gets rough. but parts on order should be here in the next week or so. got lots of green fish tourneys over the next couple months then its back to fun fishing. good thing i got lots of boats to use while everyone keeps getting deployed. wes and i will be on the lake sat to prefish for basschamps that will be there the following sat. we will probably get frustrated and go fishing for whites sometime through out the day hope to see some of yall out there.

How's the wind up at LB today? Wanted to fish there earlier this week but was blown away, so my sons & I decided to catch some bream for a fish fry. Had a blast catching a mess of big tasty bream on little spinners, worms and poppers/fly rod in the protected bays! They may be smaller than the WB but they sure tasted GOOD!
