Sorry Black Max, but the guy who posted this said they broke into the shop. On that account, only people who have been around would know what was in the shop. Customers, friends and employees.

I had a buddy have his sports car stolen at the dealership, by one of the employees.

DealerShip would not take care of it.

He had to file it on his Insurance and let the insurance fight it out with the dealership.

Having Insurance is Key if you have an expensive toy.

I don't think it was an inside job as the owners personal utility trailer was stolen to haul the motor off. If anyone doubts the integrity of these folks they simply do not know them. Not sure about the insurance thing hopefully all will go well. As for the horsepower mods you might be interested to know it was a 250 XB which is an e.f.i. and not the pro XS optimax.

That's what i heard yesterday as well. IT was a PRO-XB. I'll be keeping my eye out for it. Or atleast the parts.
That is really a bummer. Hope it all works out.

I'm sorry to hear about the motor - that really sucks. I hope they catch the meth-heads that stole it. If the rig was outside the shop, they're hard to stop. Chuck's lot is completely fenced in w/ barbed wire on top.

I can vouch for the folks at Service Marine. TOP NOTCH PEOPLE!!! Chuck and his crew have bent over backwards for us time, and time again. I ain't talking about us coming to them w/ problems - they've actually helped us out WHILE WE WERE ON THE WATER!!! The times they've helped us off of the water are too numerous to mention.

Sorry this happened to your family.

??????
Who breaks into a Repair Shop and steals a broken motor?
Possibly the person who modified said motor and voided the warranty wanting to make an insurance claim.
Sounds way to suspcious.
Thieves steel lower units and props and tackle not whole motors.
Something aint right here.

Lil tadpole - I see you're at it again, shooting off at the mouth when you don't know any of the facts!

Those are some strong accusations to be throwing out based on what little you've read.

If you don't have anything better to post, do us all the favor and go somewhere else where other A-holes who hide behind made up screen names go to act like idiots!

Is there a mod that can please do something about this [censored]?

tadpole12, who said anything about a broken motor. You must know something we all don't. Hmmm, now you look a little suspicious, since you know the motor was broken, instead of just being serviced.

You tell him Alton.

BBC, I'll keep an eye out, and an ear open for your cuz. Hope he gets it back intact.

There is a very good chance that this motor was chopped up into pieces the night it was stolen. That power head is one that can be easily modified for racing since it uses the old style EFI technology. I would bet that it has been parted out by now and the different pieces have been sent all over the country.

while your at it, get your hubby to change your depends and find you something better to do(like cleaning the roten tuna/egg smell from your mid section) than sending me perverted messages, you old bag. you have no life. go back to starting threads about how all of the guides are liars, or maybe you could come to one of the tackle shows and represent your "pro staff"...... what a joke!!! you should be "proudly sponsored" by a nutt farm!
