Fished the old bailey road from about 1:00 to 7:00.
Caught one red about 18.5". Put up a good fight to, fat fish, kinda washed out color though, coming out of the lake probably.
Lots of hits, had a screamer at the bridge that hauled my bait 20yrds down the canal then just disappeared.... 3 times.
They're really only hitting shad right now. Mullet is crab food, and shrimp is drawing croaker strikes but little else. I'm gonna grab some lil'fishies tonight and try those.
Anyone headed down there tomorrow lemme know I'd like to fish with someone.
