I'm going to start this thread to keep up with the bream spawn here in North Texas. Anyone who wants to post an update of their local lake, please do so! Anyways, I hit Waxahachie this weekend and checked the normal spawning spots, none were up yet. Caught a couple small peeing males but they were few and far between. Wasn't in the boat so didn't know water temp, guessing mid to high 60's due to the recent weather. Next full moon is May 20 (Tuesday). The weather report looks great this week, all mid 80's and mostly sunny, that should get them moving good. Anybody else got a report?

on joe pool while crappie fishing i have seen alot more big perch being caught including this 9 incher that a guy gave me i guess the time is right for the bigguns lol

I was on a private lake in east tx last wkend and caught a lot of large bull coppernose on my fly rod. i was throwing a small plastic bug shallow.

Saw some on the beds in a Plano pond this morning. Beds fanned out and sitting tight...untill I cast..Zooom
