"Broderick Lloyd Laswell says he isn't happy that he's down to 308 pounds after eight months in the Benton County jail. He has filed a federal lawsuit complaining the jail doesn't provide inmates with enough food.

According to the suit, Laswell weighed 413 pounds when he was jailed in September."

Tell him when he gets down to 150, check back with us.

If he does not like jail food, perhaps he might should have chosen a different career path.

Tough diet, but effective. Atkins is easier.

3000 calories is not starvation...(the 2000 our health facts are based on is garbage though. That IS a starvation diet if you're over like 100 lbs and male).

A 413 # man can eat enough to feed a regular family of 3.
Losing 110 lbs probably saved his life.

Not probably. It did save his life. He is too hungry to realize it.
