Hey Yall,

I am redfished before but it has been years and in Florida.

Who would you hire for a coastal guide trip here in Texas and what would be easiest to catch in the next month or two?

What is the average price for a day long trip.

I will do some research on my own as well but I thought I would go to the source.

Thanks

Capt. Dan of Jubilee guide Service. He'll take you out for some nice trout and reds in the flats this time of year (he recently caught his personal best red, almost 50"). In the fall he goes out to port o' connor for some giants. In fact, from september to december he has a guarantee- at least one red over 35" or money back. He does well in the summer and spring, too, mostly for trout and black drum but this time of year the reds are still in the flats. Whenever we go with him in the spring-summer, we always catch enough fish to fill a normal person's freezer for months, but it goes fast in our house. His bay trip rates are $500 for 1-2 people. He also does some offshore trips, with an extra charge of $100. check him out and you'll have constant action all day.

Try Green Hornet Guide Service in Rockport. They are always on fish and fun to fish with, as well. I saw there ad in Texas Sporting Journal magazine and called and booked them. Caught alot of trout, drum, reds and two flounder. Their # is 361-790-9742

Check this guy out. His name is Bob Hill. Great guy, good fisherman. Knows what he's doing.
