Ok, so for "Wind blown points" do you want the wind to be parallel to the shore like facing in the same direction like this || or perpendicular like blowing straight at the shore?

I really don't have much clue besides bait and tackle set-up for blue and channel catfish. Going to Lewisville or Grapevine tomorrow and just wanted some guidance.

Blowing straight into the shore. Look for windy muddy shore or point. Also look for the white birds that are on the shore they are eating the shad and where there is shad there are blues and sandbass.

I fish them with the wind out of the back of my boat. I anchor the bow of my boat on the tip of the piont. I then cast with the wind up to shallower water. Most of the time the way it works for me is, the stronger the wind the shallower the cats will be. I fish 18 inches to 6 ft deep most of the time.
