Quiet here, ain't it?

I wonder how the Forkies are doing.

I'm around \:\( I need to text someone and see what's shaking out there. KC and I are fishing local tomorrow, possibly a Joe Pool shakedown with a possible mountain creek on the backside

Well, I SAW a carp today. I guess that's a start. And proof that Cibilo Creek doesn't suffer from the Caney Curse. The thing was right up against the bank, digging around under a log. I was fly fishing for perch, but tried to get a popper down in front of it anyways. Fortunately for me and light tippet, the carp swam away as soon as the popper landed.

Went bass fishing today & caught a few - nothing huge - biggest was a 3 lb spot, but it was good (consistant) action all day and I took the ole lady w/ me & she got to lay out when the sun would peak through the clouds.

Also, saw several commons & gars hanging around the shallows.

Overall, it was a nice day to be on the water.
