What do you guys think about this?
I pulled out in front of someone, and they bounced off of the front end of my truck, F150 Crew 4x4. Pretty bad damage, needed new transmission, suspension work, front end body replacement, the works. Insurance tells me about $10,000 worth of damage.
Problem is the body shop has had approval from the insurance co. since early-mid March. Which would mean that as of today, they have had 5-6 weeks to work on my truck. About a week and a half ago they told me the front end was put back together, just needed paint and a wash to be ready. Sounds great, right?
Wrong!! I have been speaking to the shop manager everyday since then, and everday it is something new, missing bracket for headlight assembly, brake light came on during a test drive, gas guage not working, blah blah blah. He always tells me that it will be fixed "this afternoon, barring anymore surprises" and that he'll call me as soon as it's ready. No call because it's never ready!!
I know it was alot of damage and work to pull the engine, replace transmission but does this sound right?
I really just wanted to vent a little bit so thanks for listening

!!! What do you think????
