Just went out to Benbrook. Water level is about 4 1/2 feet high and still rising. They put one of their barges in the space between the walkway and parking lot so you can get to the boats and the Marina House. It has risen about 3" since 9AM. And of course more rain is expected. Tons of trash in the water. Big logs, etc., if you go out be extra careful,
Just saw a man and woman go out into the lake, with no life jackets and it is very rough out there. I hate to see that especially after all the deaths lately.
Stay safe everyone!!
Bob

Apart from the things you would expect, how does the high water effect the fishing??

I'm more concerned with the 15-25 mph winds and the thunderstorms than the high water.

Bob higher water means you have to let your line out a little farther to reach the bottom. J/K

I hope you get a real answer so I can learn something also.

I guess I'll have to tie on some extra line on my pole!
