I was fishing off the jetties in Galveston using shrimp. Caught a couple dozen piggy perch, croaker, whiting, and then I caught a fish I havnt seen before. I caught 3 of them, they were about 6-8 inches long, they have a mouth on the front and it was silver all around the lips.

"No pics???"

Nope sorry didnt have a camera with me.

"Hmmm, a mouth on the front??? Sounds fishy."

I was meaning that the mouth wasnt on the bottom like a carp ; /

"Prolly just a silver mullet."
I was using mullet, its wasnt a mullet.

Sorry I dont have any better description. It didnt have any really unique characteristic other than a really silver color on the lips. It wasnt have any special colors on the body, and no unique shape.
