Dave, The gov. is fixing to send me a 600.00 check next week. I think a portion of this money, say about 100 bucks of it, has take a soldier fishing name on it. Can't think of a better way to spend the money other than this great cause and doing what I love.......

Dave, I signed up on the boaters sight. I said 2 to be safe, but depending on the fisherman I may be able to take 3. I too will match you guys $100. I will try to see if I can get some other people/organizations to donate.

Thanks Zach for registering and for the donation. Now who's next. We are up to 4 boats. Need about 16 more to make sure we have enough rides. Printed up some flyers to distribute to the local sporting goods stores. Made some cards up to place on windshields @ the Fox/Taylor ramp parking lots. I'm gonna call Brandon today @ the COE and give him a heads up and find out if we need a permit or not.

This project is near and dear to me after spending the last 28 years of my life in the military and currently serving. Need some assistance here Granger Gang. Here is a quote from fisterfam "Only two defining forces have ever offered to die for you, Jesus Christ and the American G. I. One died for your soul, the other for your freedom". Look deep in your heart and think seriously about this by assisting.

Man I am all pumped up!!! Thanks DBman. I can feel your passion from way over here. Keep it up. I sent it higher today in hopes of getting some funding for these wounded soldiers. Total price tag for this project is $41k so please cross your fingers and hope the Army is generous enough to help. Otherwise the soldiers will be responsible for their meals and rooms when we go to the other lakes. THINKING POSITIVE HERE!!!
Keep it up guys. The word is out about the project and the soldiers are getting excited! Later Mike

I am willing to do it, just depends on my work schedule. My job is in a downturn right now, so I'm not sure when I'm off or on, should have a better grip on it by the end of this week....

I don't own a boat, but have relatives and friends that have either served, or are still currently in the arm forces, and some still deployed.
I do rent some slips up here at Eagle Mountain Lake in the N Fort Worth Area, and could check with our marina owner on something like this. I'd love to fish side-by-side with some of the most unselfish heroes known to our country.
It would be the least I could do and really have nothing more than the upmost respect and reverence for our ladies/gents that serve our country across the world. God Bless em'.

DB, Do you need someone to man the Granger HQ (pavilion)? I ain't wounded, but I'd still help if I had time. Also, do you need any help getting the word out on-post here? June is gonna be a busy month for me, but I believe I could get away for a Saturday if necessary.
