Just wondering if anyone has been beating it up like I have, been catching alot of LMB's of the bank. Spinnerbaits and rattle traps, a few of worms. Anyone one else been doing any damage on the southside?

Well this goes to all of the "bank fisherman" Beware of the docks that are underwater....Even if there is more of the dock floating...Had an experience yesterday waded out to get unhung on a dock and there was a section missing that I couldn't see, nor stand on..Took a little dive..Wish it would have been on tape..All you can do if laugh, glad didn't break my pole and didn't get hurt..

What locations are yall fishing at? I went for the first time today and only caught one (about 1 1/2 lber) near Little Pete's. Tried fishing at Joe Pool but wind was horrible for bank fishing. Any info would be appreciated in finding more fish from the bank. Thanks, Dustin.

I started out near the parking lot and worked my way to the left and around the rocky drop offs. I actually caught the 3 fish near the far point to the left of the parking lot. Any other locations for great bank fishing would be appreciated. Thanks

I know what your saying, is there a lot of protected areas maybe like you would find on a resivor with a lot of arms and creeks (Ceder Creek?) or is it more like lewisville just a huge wide open lake?

Mcpherson slough is a pretty good place to take a kayak, if there is no north wind

Had a decent day today. Caught a small white bass this morning. I worked my way down to the fishing docks in Oak Grove Park (mcphearson slough) I believe? and caught a 1 lb and 1 1/2 lber around 3pm. I caught a nice 3.4 lber around 3:45 between 2 of the docks right at the bank. All in all a nice day out. I also saw a 3 lber or so floating near the bank.

Caught 1 sandie and two largemouth bass this morning using a white spinnerbait with willow leaf blades. Caught all three in a span of 10 casts. The largest was probably 2 lbs. I was surprised the sandie hit a full size spinner bait.

Thanks "Fatty"!!! I went out this morning where you told me to try and caught 5 in a couple of hours. I caught 2 over 2 lbs and 3 smaller ones. I didn't get to try the spots I thought more where hiding because I noticed alot of centipedes crawling around and I didnt want to stand there too long, lol. Thanks for the help and hope everyone else is having good luck.
