We got skunked last night, but we were out early this morning and I caught my first frog bass, along with 4 more, and missed quite a few. My buddy missed 3, but we moved spots later and he ended up catching 5, and I caught one more.

Here is the picture of the first frog bass.....rest were about the same size..




And I found these this morning......they look familiar to anyone???

Stanley Ribbit, in baby bass. Went back out tonight and had a couple blow-ups, but we didn't catch any. Little front moved through about 7 or so, rained a bit and the wind got up.

Believe it or not, I caught all of those wading out in the sticks right there in gator land! I was a little hesitant at first, and my buddy was real hesitant, but after I rolled in he was game too.

Going back out tomorrow morning pre-sunrise.

I was going to call when we was headed out, but then it started raining so we were just sitting around. We didn't stay very long, maybe 20 minutes, then something came up and I had to head back.

I unknowingly turned my alarm off at 5:30 this morning..
Lame. last chance i had to go before school.

My Dad always told me when I was little, that I had to be good for something, he just hadn't figured out what yet. Now we know! Ima call him and tell him I finally figured it out!

Went out this morning. Started at the boat houses and got nada. Hit up a couple other spots and finally landed 2 dinks and my new personal best 3 lb 12 ozer. Scale shows 3.10 but he was flopping as I took the pic.

Lake was getting hammered today.
There were 4 bass boats fishing the boat houses when I was there and like 3 party boats in the area.

Fished in 3 different spots and only caught 2 dinks. Both were on Zoom mag 11 worms.

Wouldn't bite anything else I threw at em.

I just parked to the right and walked down, didn't feel like scratching up the truck with the branches. Nice area when lake is a little low for some good fishing.

went out last night got 2 lmb one was 1lb and the other was a nice 3lbs lmb gave up a great fight. camera was broke and phone was dead or else i would have had pics of both.

in the cove next to the boat houses. There was one baby lmb jumping around and i could not get him to take anything i threw out there and i even threw a grass hopper and something else. he looked like a kid just having fun jumping in the water.
