Ok guys I have been in contact with the team and we are on go so. I also would like to vote on a lake. But if we have to we will go with CC or RC. Lets do it. Got truck will travel, Got boat will fish. Just name it

Well to make it fair, we should decide on a lake between us (Tyler/DFW). Athens, Pines, Bob Sandlin, Chambers, Cedar Creek (most trails come through Cedar Creek--most folks should be familiar with it), heck lets just go to to one that none of us are familiar with--Lake Palestine or better yet, Lake Tyler

Chambers has good burgers at the marina, Cedar Creek has good mexican food a couple of miles from the 198 ramp.

I'm game, the 24th is good for me too. What Lake did ya'll have in mind that is between us in Tyler and you in DFW?

I will be in Arkansas the 24th. I know that Roy is off on the 17th, and it will work for me too.

Flex has a problem with the 17th. Either Day works for me.

Snake-eyes is good with the 17th as well

Well us Bassterts are good either weekend. Quitman, Mill Creek, Holbrook or even Purtis Creek all sound like pretty good lakes to go to that are all in between DFW and Tyler. Hell, there is only going to be 9 of us looks like so any of these lakes will accomodate us.

i say cedar creek on the 17th.

I'm good with either but prefer Quitman cause it is smaller than Cedar Creek and with gas prices these days as well as wind.. LOL that lake gets rough and I don't usually fish by the ramp. Quitman will keep us closer to each other for some on the lake Ribbing...

Purtis is another Great choice... A Paper Tourney would be good, We could look at trading non-boaters for Proof....

im fishing with weekender this sat. so i see what he thinks. i have to work next sat. and donny will be out of town on the 24th and the 31st we will be on palestine.

I am open on the 17th and the 24th. I have a T on the 31st and also have one on the 10th. I know that Flexpress can make it on the 24th but Donny is out of State that weekend.

Did we talk about the hours we are going to fish I can't remenber? I think we should fish 6:15 to 2:30 thats me 2cent.But whatever time we fish is ok with me. Can't wait to meet all you guys. But most of all ME being a GUIDE ON LAKE QUITMAN IM PUMPED UP LIKE A SHOW DOG.

I'm also glad you like and chose Lake Quitman. I don't guide but I have helped a few people out on the lake. I guess I was wanting 7:00am for the people that live away from there a little more time in the morning. But 6:15 is good with me to. I just have to lower my boat into the water so I can meet ya there anytime. I will idle on over to the ramp around 6:00am See ya there.

By boat it is about 1/2 mile but by vehicle it is about 2
I haven't gotten over there in a while to check on Hank but I see Chad (His son) every now and again...

I love this Lake. I have won alot of tourn. on it. From the ramp which way do you live are keep your boat? Jody how meny times have you fished the road bed on the upper end of the lake I can't remenber the old road number,but there is a old bridge on it which should be very good.

Just pulling your leg,, I live in Tyler. I do know of the road bed or at least a Road bed. The one I know about should be good now since they have had some rain but when the lake is low it would take a flat bottom to get there.

Hey, ZX225 are you talking about the road right in front of the ramp to the other ramp or the one in the back of the creek on the north end before you get to the existing bridge? Just got to thinking bout that roadbed that helped make the ramp when they filled the lake and that one might be good right now, I can say that I have honestly never fished it this time of year.
