Anybody ever fished this lake? How was it? I know it has a bunch of hydrilla and is catch and release for bass.

Robertwb fishes it a lot, and he's caught some BIG fish. Of course, you have to be cool with sharing the water with gators!

They cut the hydrilla back at times, and honestly, I have never had a problem with it. The quality of the fish there are great! There are gators in the lake and I have tubed fished it a few times. I posted a pic of a bass I caught there in this section a couple years ago. Let me know how you do.

Great Lake. I fished it a lot when I was school down there. If I could, I would fish that lake any chance I could. There are numerous 10+ fish caught out of there every year. I was never fortunate enough to catch one but I did see many 7s and 8s come out. I believe my biggest was around 5lbs. I did catch many crappie and catfish too.
