Want to make a weekend trip to fish Matagorda Bay. Looking for Houses that rent for long weekends with protected dock area. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

we surf fished about 4 miles up from the pier and caught a huge black drum, and some smaller blacks and reds.
also if you drive up the beach you will see a huge entrance into where the jetties are, we threw a cast net about 4 times and had buckets full of mullet from 3 inches to 14. tons of mullet back there in those jetties

NOT YET TO MUCH GOING ON. MAY HAVE TO BE IN THE FALL. DO YOU KNOW MUCH ABOUT THE AREA? NEVER BEEN TO MATAGORDA BEFORE. JUST LOOKING FOR INFO ON FISHING, AND RENTAL HOUSES.
