I kept my son and daughter out of school today and took them to the creek by 78 this morning. We used 1/8 oz jigs, with white curly tails and Since the weight was so light, I did the casting. I would cast for one, turn and cast for the other, then take a fish off for one, and cast them back in and turn and take a fish off for the other, from about 7 this morning till 10. The shad were in there heavy!!! Busting the top all over the place. My son caught a hybrid that went 5-6 lbs.. Talk about busy. This old man was way busy for those 3 hours.

They are asleep.. But yep..My daughter said her wrists were hurting before we ever quit. Saw several nice Hybrids caught

If the fish are bitin, I'll trade for a later shift

was out there today .... caught a bunch of dinks .... some good sandies were caught earliar in the morning and afternoon!!!will be out in the morning for some actions !!!! most fish today i saw were caught on live minnows and shad ... hopefully do better 2morow!!!!
