i am new to fly fishing and was wondering if any one knew of some spots i could fish from the bank/wade in the denton area

Ray Roberts has some flats I hear, although I've never made it over there.

Ought to be some creeks to wade thereabouts, keep your eyes peeled whilst driving about the area.

Head south on 377(Ft. Worth Drive). Turn left on Country Club Road(FM 1830)at the Shell Station. About 1 mile turn left on Hickory Creek Road and park along road, make your way down to the water and the sandies and hybrids will be there.

i dont have any space to keep them in my apartment so they stay at my parents house in Mansfield. So when i make my way home we typically go to a couple spots in that area or keep on going south to the coast

Where are the flats on Roberts and any place one could park and walk from? I wade/float tube fish. Thanks very much for any help.

According to this link there are flats in the Isle DeBois arm of the lake.

I know that there are some guys out there who fish Ray Bob. Who can point this fellow to the wading flats?

The northern 377 bridge (north of Tioga) will put you on them. The bottom can be kinda soft, though. Your best bet is to get that yak of yours, paddle west from that same 377 bridge (on the northern side) and go past the railroad tracks, then hug the shoreline north - that's Upper Jordan Creek and great fishing all through there.
