I know this is probably a bad time to ask since there is a tournament going on but I have a family reunion to go to this weekend in Whitney. We are staying at the state park. I am debating taking the boat with us since gas is so high right now. I would take it if I thought I could get my kids into some striper. We are avid sandbass fisherman but have not done much striper fishing. Any tips or trick in the state park area would be appreciated.

Later in the day (evening) has been the better bite from what I've heard, around the state park area of the main lake.
